Lanthanum carbonate hydrate - Introduction
Generally, they all contain certain hydrated water molecules. It is an orthorhombic crystal system, which can react with most acids and has a solubility of 2.38 × 10-7mol/L in water at 25°C. It can be thermally decomposed into lanthanum trioxide at 900 ℃. The basic salt La2O3 · 2CO2 · 2H2O can be produced during the thermal decomposition process. Lanthanum carbonate can form water-soluble carbonic acid double salt La2(CO3)3 · Na2SO4 · nH2O with alkali metal carbonate. Add a slight amount of ammonium carbonate to the dilute solution of soluble lanthanum salt to obtain lanthanum carbonate precipitate.
